We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist with hosting the Black Women Professional Launch Event. This event aims to celebrate and empower black women professionals and entrepreneurs, providing them with networking opportunities, educational workshops, and inspiring speakers. Volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event and creating a welcoming and engaging environment for attendees.


  1. Event Setup and Logistics:
    • Assist with setting up event signage, registration tables, and seating arrangements.
    • Ensure that the venue is organized and prepared for the arrival of attendees.
    • Help with any logistical tasks as needed throughout the event.
  2. Registration and Check-In:
    • Greet attendees as they arrive and assist with the registration process.
    • Provide attendees with name tags, event programs, and any other materials they may need.
    • Direct attendees to the appropriate areas of the venue and answer any questions they may have.
  3. Workshop and Session Support:
    • Assist workshop facilitators with setting up presentation materials and ensuring that audiovisual equipment is functioning properly.
    • Monitor workshop sessions and help with any technical issues or attendee inquiries.
    • Collect feedback forms and distribute handouts as needed.
  4. Networking and Engagement:
    • Actively engage with attendees and foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
    • Encourage networking and facilitate introductions between attendees.
    • Provide information about the Black Women Professional Cooperative and its initiatives to interested attendees.
  5. Event Breakdown:
    • Assist with cleaning up the venue and returning equipment and materials to their designated areas.
    • Ensure that the venue is left in good condition following the conclusion of the event.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
  • Interest in supporting and empowering black women professionals and entrepreneurs.
  • Previous event experience is preferred but not required.
